Dietary supplements generally have a 2-3 year shelf life. Vitamins and herbs should be stored in a cool dry place. Do not refrigerate because the moisture will speed deterioration of your supplements. Probiotics (acidophilus and other friendly organisms) may require refrigeration. Security - Is my credit card safe? Security of your order information is of the highest priority at The Vitamin Trader. What are your shipping options? View our shipping options from any page of our website. Can I return the products I ordered? Yes but you will have to call or write to us for an authorization. Generally products purchased within the last 30 days are returnable. Items must be unopened. Items that are not returnable include: special order items, opened merchandise, books, refrigerated items such as probiotics, hair color, and cosmetics. If breakage occurs, please save the broken item, box and packaging material (for inspection by the carrier) and call the Vitamin Trader immediately. Returned case quantity orders are subject to a restocking fee. Can I save more by purchasing a case quantity of a product? Yes, we offer an additional 10% discount on cases of 12. Case discounts are not available for sale items. We will hold orders until the full case can be shipped, unless you choose to pay an additional shipping charge for a partial case shipment. A flat fee is charged for shipping to a UPS address in the continental USA, which translates into additional savings. If the item is a heavy item (marked with an * in the catalog, additional shipping charges may apply. International Orders For first time international customers only: For your (and our) protection, we need to make sure that the credit card number you’re sending us really is yours to use. If your order subtotal is $75.00 or more we will need to verify your credit card information.
Unfortunately, there is no system in place to electronically verify international credit cards. So please email or fax us a copy of the first page of your latest credit card billing statement. We’re really not interested in learning how you spend your money, so you can black out your purchase history if you’d like. Just make sure that the bank’s logo, address and your name and address along with the last four digits of your credit card are showing.
We only ask you to do this for first orders over $75.00 and as this is just for verification purposes, we destroy the information once we have processed it. International returns policy: If an order is returned to us because of restricted or banned products or an incorrect address, you’ll be refunded the total amount of the products ordered, less a 20% re-stocking fee. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Please check with your customs before ordering, as there may be import restrictions for your country.
Import taxes: If you have to pay import duties or taxes, you will be billed directly by your customs for them.
