Oregano leaf is an aromatic Mediterranean herb with a distinguished history as a spice and as a healing plant. The quality of oregano leaf extract is often judged by its carvacrol content, but there are unquestionably other components that contribute to its remarkable biological effects. An extract that delivers only oil-soluble constituents will thus fail to capture the synergy present in the whole medicinal herb. The total phenolic antioxidants (TPA) delivered in Oreganoforce include not only an appropriate level of carvacrol, but also the phenolic antioxidants that support its activity.
