Shipping Information

Standard U.S. Shipping is $5.99: Service is by USPS Priority Mail or UPS (our shipping department chooses the method based on value & weight). Shipment is within the Continental U.S. (lower 48 continguous states). P.O. Boxes are not deliverable by UPS and are subject to PO Box guidelines below. Shipment to Post Office Boxes, APO, FPO, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories, please see next paragraph.  We will notify you of any additional fees before processing your order. Heavy parcels that must ship by USPS may be subject to additional fees. 

Post Office Boxes: This Includes All Domestic PO Boxes, APO, FPO and U.S. territories addresses.

Service is by USPS First Class or Priority Mail. These orders will be charged according to weight. We will email notification of additional charges (over $5.99) for your approval once your order is pulled and weighed. Orders over $125.00 may require an additional charge for insurance.

Alaska and Hawaii: Minimum $6.99  Shipping is via USPS

Domestic Second Day Air: UPS
Order must be placed by 2 pm Mountain Time to allow same day processing. Service is by UPS.  We will e-mail you the shipping fees for your approval prior to processing and charging your order. Orders placed after 2 pm MST on Friday, or on Saturday and Sunday will ship the following Monday, arriving Wednesday. Orders must be placed by Wednesday 2 pm Mountain Time at the latest in order to get them by Friday of the same week. Holidays may affect this schedule. Contact us if you must have Saturday UPS delivery (extra fees apply) and we will provide you with a price quote. Please Note: Priority Mail, though not guaranteed is almost always delivered within 2-3 days throughout the United States. It is usually much less expensive than UPS 2 Day Air fees and extra fees apply to Post Office Saturday delivery. 

Domestic Express Mail & Overnight UPS: Order must be placed by 2 pm Mountain Time to allow same day processing. USPS Express Mail service is available to most zipcodes; and is usually overnight service. UPS Overnight service is guaranteed to be delivered next day  to most locations and the cost varies widely based on zipcode and weight of the shipment. Our customer service department will call or email you with the total charges for your order before completing processing. UPS orders placed after 2 pm MST on Friday, or on Saturday and Sunday will ship the following Monday, usually arriving the following Tuesday. Contact us if you must have Saturday UPS delivery (extra fees apply) and we will provide you with a price quote. Holidays may affect this schedule. Express mail is deliverable on Saturdays. 

International Service: We have currently suspended International shipping with the exception of Canada. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

You will be given a choice of shipping method upon checkout. Fees vary depending on destination and weight of parcel and if there are any changes, we will contact you by email. Some countries have restrictions on the importation of dietary supplements as well as additional customs duties and taxes. It is the customer's responsibility to inquire at his/her country's customs agency to obtain the most current information. Should any order be returned to The Vitamin Trader as undeliverable for any reason, the shipping fees are not refundable. We will not ship internationally to a Post Office Box so please provide a street address.

International returns policy: If an order is returned to us because of restricted or banned products or an incorrect address you’ll be refunded the total amount of the products ordered, less a 20% re-stocking fee. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Please check with your customs agency before ordering, as there may be import restrictions for your country.

Import taxes: If you have to pay import duties or taxes, you will be billed directly by your customs agency for them. Please note that we declare the full value (less shipping) of the order on the shipping label and documents.

For first time international customers only: For your (and our) protection, we need to make sure that the credit card number you’re sending us really is yours to use. If your order subtotal is $75.00 or more we will need to verify your credit card information.

Unfortunately, there is no system in place to electronically verify international credit cards. So please email or fax us a copy of the first page of your latest credit card billing statement. We’re really not interested in learning how you spend your money, so you can black out your purchase history if you’d like. Just make sure that the bank’s logo, address and your name and address along with the last four digits of your credit card are showing.

We only ask you to do this for first orders over $75.00 and as this is just for verification purposes, we destroy the information once we have processed it. We appreciate that you’re ordering from us and we want to make sure that this process is as painless as possible while still ensuring that all the information you are sending us is correct. Thanks.
